On September 20 and 21 we supported the realization of a historic military transport train with our vehicles.
Pulled by "MELANIE" (a historic Diesel locomotive from Regiobahn) the train ran between the Bolfras barracks in Mistelbach and Dabsch barracks in Korneuburg and finally participated in the "Roads and Tracks" oldtimer festival in Ernstbrunn.
Our special appreciation goes to the team from the 3rd Reconnaissance and Artillery Battalion (AAB3) in Mistelbach who expertly supported the loading and offloading of the vehicles via their loading ramp.
Kürassier, APC Saurer, Steyr 680, ÖAF sLKW and Jeep Willys MB re-created the 1970s atmosphere.
