After the COVID-related cancellation last year, on September 4&5 we could resume our traditional Fall Gathering for the seventh time - again supported by the 3rd Reconnaissance and Artillery Battalion from Mistelbach. Brilliant Indian Summer weather brought more than 600 guests (all perfectly recorded according to the applicable 3G-rules). The Battalion again brought one of their M109A5Ö self-propelled howitzers as well as a "Husar" Recon vehicle, while the Vienna Military History Museum contributed the Saurer APC prototype and their Daimler Dingo scout car. For the first time, our friends from the Brits Living History Society joined us and prepared a "very British" camp for the duration of the event.

Also for the first time this year, we included four presentations on special topics and vehicles on display.

This time, the whole event (including rig-up and preparations) was documented by our friends from "Traum und Wahnsinn" Videoproductions. The numerous videos will be released in the coming weeks and months.

As always, the highlight was the culinary service provided by our field kitchen - again a huge "Thank you" to our field kitchen crew!

Next year will again be a little more stressful for us as we will attend the "AirPower" in Zeltweg on September 2/3 - but mark your calendars for our Fall Gathering 2022 on September 10/11!
