Together with the 3rd Reconnaissance and Artillery Battalion we again open our workshops for the 11th Annual Gathering of the Traditionsverband in Prottes.

As usual we present our vehicle collection (including the additions since last year) and our culinary team will as always do its utmost to operate the field kitchen at maximum capacity :-)!

Am Samstag den 5. Juli 2025 werden wir im Rahmen der großen Leistungsschau von Bundesheer und Blaulichtorganisationen auf dem Gelände der ehemaligen Hillerkaserne in Linz/Ebelsberg die Geschichte wieder aufleben lassen. Jagdpanzer Kürassier, Schützenpanzer Saurer und Steyr Diesel 680 waren einige der "Ikonen" der 1970er und 1980er Jahre und werden nocheinmal zu sehen sein.

We are extremely happy that after several years of planning we are finally succeeded at scheduling a podium discussion about the Border Protection Mission during the crisis in former Jugoslavia during summer 1991.

On Friday August 29 we will recap the historical European context, the run-up to the mission and the month of active Austrian military presence at the border to Jugoslavia.

Together with some of the leading commanders of this mission we will discuss the history of this mission as well as lessons learned.

Our fleet has grown again. In early 2025 one of the two only 19.403 FALK trucks delivered to the Austrian Military in 2000  by the Army was sold off. Equipped with an 11 mT Palfinger hydraulic crane these two vehicles were used to transport and rig up mobile radar units.
